Circle Singers - Membership
Circle Singers at Earlsdon Methodist Church, Coventry in 2006
Beresford King-Smith conducting
Circle Singers membership is based upon an enthusiasm for
a wide range of both sacred and secular classical music - ranging
from medieval, renaissance and baroque music to works by living composers.
Purcell Tercentenary
Concert
The choir meets regularly once a week at 7:45pm on a Monday evening
for rehearsals at Radford Road Church, Leamington during
the school term.
In addition to the regular rehearsals members are required to attend
special rehearsals held prior to concert performances.
The membership Fee for the Choir is £ 20 per term to cover the cost of
the rehearsal venue and purchase of music.
The choir meets on an occasional basis for social evenings and events.
Membership of the choir is not limited to any specific age group and
prospective members are not required to undertake an audition. They
would, however, be required to show previous choral experience and
reasonable sight reading capabilities.
